📥 Installation Guide

Artok Studio is a high-performance desktop environment designed for mission-critical HMI development. To ensure low-latency simulation and reliable AI generation, follow the instructions below for your specific platform.

🏁 Platform Distributions​

Select the installer compatible with your operating system. All official builds are security-verified and optimized for cross-platform excellence.

🪟 Windows​

  1. Download the installer: artok-studio-2.4.0-setup.exe
  2. Run the .exe file and follow the installation wizard.
  3. SmartScreen Note: As specialized industrial software, Windows Defender may show a warning. Click "More Info" then "Run Anyway".

🍎 macOS​

  1. Download the disk image: artok-studio-2.4.0.dmg
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Artok Studio to your Applications folder.
  3. Security Note: If macOS prevents the app from opening, navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway" at the bottom of the page.

🔑 Account & Activation​

Artok Studio v2.4.0 uses a frictionless, in-app onboarding process. You do not need to leave the desktop environment to manage your workspace.

  • Onboard Directly: Click "Create Account" on the initial splash screen to set up your free workspace immediately.
  • Standard Access: Designing, local simulation, and widget exploration are available for free.
  • Pro Features: Logging in with a Pro account unlocks the AI-Native Workflow (Layout, Interaction, and Styles), Cloud Sync, and Production Binary Export.

🖥 System Requirements​

For a smooth experience, especially when using the AI-assisted design tools and 60 FPS live preview:

  • OS: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, or Ubuntu 22.04+
  • RAM: 8GB recommended for fluid AI-assisted design.
  • Graphics: Hardware acceleration enabled (OpenGL 3.3+).
  • Network: Internet connection required for AI generation and cloud builds.
